Women’s Hostels in and around Velachery, Chennai

Velachery with its proximity to companies in OMR and with very good public transport facilities to other parts of the city, enabled by the Chennai Metro Buses and MRTS services has become home to a lot of hostels for women.

A majority of them are opposite TCS and near Perungudi Railway Station, owing to the comparitively lesser costs in setting up hostels in that area.  Some of the women’s hostels available in Velachery are listed below.

Shiva’s Nest is also near MRTS station, but this one is near Velachery MRTS..

The following hostels which are at walkable distances to Vijayanagar Bus Terminus, are ideal if you plan to use the metro buses..

Sri Sairam Working Women’s Hostel –  Near Vijayanagar Terminus, Opposite Pillai Hospital

Yoga Ladies Hostel –  Near Cee Dee Yes shop on Taramani Road.
